As the estimated viewing figures are around 8 million, those few complaints show we are becoming more accepting. As I remember the furore over the first gay kiss on EastEnders.

I would like to think it is the latter. considering the appetite people have these days for being offended and complaining about everything, less than 200 out of 8 million is amazing.

I'd agree, even from some of the papers I've seen they've taken a bit of a 'about time' approach rather than condemning it
