Men generally seem to hope for spontaneous meets more. Couples and single women generally seek dialogue for some time before meeting. I think hook up sites are probably better for spontaneous.

Taking my time getting to know people and building a connection and chemistry is always my preference - spontaneity only comes into it once we have agreed to meet and is about going with the flow once we get there

Sex meets i like spontaneity. If a fella starts telling me what he’s going to do to me I lose interest.

Social meets i like some planning. I like to know where i’m going, plan my clothes accordingly and what the parking situation is like and plan accordingly.

Everyone does some planing its a fallacy they don't. It might be a bit of shaving down below clean sheets if you are accommodating or filling the car with fuel to travel we all do some planing and preparation.

I realised something yesterday... The best meets I've had and the ones that gave turned into long term, lovely fwb situations have all followed a similar pattern. We've connected, spoken, sometimes at length, sometimes not but never about sex. We've met, kissed and taken it from there.

I've become wary of men who are simply here to talk dirty and jerk off, that's fine in itself but I don't want that or to be involved. But aside from that I've realised talking it out beforehand doesn't seem to get good results.

Ive had one out of the blue meet with a girl on a different site/app (not dating funnily enough). It was very fun but lacked the build up, fanny flutters, nervousness and general excitement of a planned meet.

So I'd say planned meets are more fun overall
