Here I am in lovely Edinburgh 200+ mile from sunny Shropshire.

We went to see Le Mans at Ocean Terminal so how bizarre it was to hear Ken Mile's character during the film say "quit going around the Wrekin"

A good old Shropshire saying meaning "get to the point"

The Wrekin is a big old hill in Shropshire as some will know.

So if any of you have seen the film and wondered what Ken Miles was warbling on about. That is what it was :D

Ken Mile was from Sutton Coldfield. So I'm guessing he might have had a connection to Shropshire. What with him being a midlander. Bit of a coincidence, Lib did a thread about another Motorsport underdog.

Yes I thought he must of been local, not sure where the guy who portrayed him was from but definitely a localised accent.

Was a great film.
