I’ve spent the day curled up in bed feeling poorly and have ended up watching re-runs of Dawson’s Creek. Really rather nostalgic.

What “coming of age” movies or TV shows do you remember fondly?

Would Stand By Me count as a coming of age film? Definitely that.

Absolutely! I walked the Malvern Hills with my friends pretending to re-enact Stand By Me!

I'm too old to have a coming of age TV show .

Radio Luxembourg under the covers at night was my coming of age radio station though

Somewhere In The Ether…

Stephen King’s, IT is sort of coming of age right? (Albeit tenuously perhaps...)

My So Called Life and Party of Five were never missed in my youth .

I realise I could have spent my time much more wisely.

Lichfield

Quadrophenia, not entirely thought provoking but depicts the roller coaster ride of youth sublimely.

The 'making of' doing the rounds on Sky Arts currently is well worth watching.
