Please can EVERYONE everywhere, please do the following..

If you receive an articulate, well written message, please can you at least take the time to say "Sorry, you're not my type.." or words to that affect.

I understand that messages are sent without condition, but it's common blummin' courtesy right?

The end!

Club Meets Only

A 'sorry you're not my type' ends in a message of abuse back sometimes, it has nothing to do with common courtesy in not replying. Take the lack of reply as a no thanks

Even if your profile is set to ‘not looking for’ men, and men still continue to message you? So they’ve chosen to ignore the filters and the warning that pops up when they type the message. Should we still have to reply then?

Just delete your sent items. If the recipient wants to reply they will.

Also, since I changed my profile I get a quarter of the messages I used to but I still get about 50 a day. If a man messages me it should come up “this person isn’t looking to meet men”. So why should I?? People tell me to block men. Again why should I? I always reply to forum people and i enjoy some of the games that involve PM so I don’t want to block men.

Same for me - a message will pop up saying “this person isn’t looking for men”, yet I still get so many messages I sometimes feel I have to hide my profile just for a break from it. I don’t block men because I have male friends on here who I chat to.

I presume you do this with junk mail at home.

Do you ring all those take away menus up and say 'blah blah blah blah blah no thanks, I'm just being polite'.

This is why if I’m not online I hide my profile now. I just unhide it when I’m on line. If I remember!

No thanks. We will run our profile our way. Unless you want to deal with any abusive messages we receive for turning people down.

Sorry, I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong … FAB FAQs say all you need to know

O o O oo

Some people reply, some don't. If you accept this your time on the site will probably be more enjoyable
