I've been musing (read: procrastinating) about the way couples use the forums.

Generally, one half is the more prolific poster, or indeed the sole poster. Why is that?

With us, I'm the chattier one, I find people endlessly fascinating, and I like a good flirt. Mr pops his head in to make sarky remarks from time to time.

Does the way couples use the forums lead you to make assumptions about their relationships? If one half is silent, do you think they're not as into the scene as the other? Or does it make you think they're fakes?

. If we had a couples profile I would be the only one posting on the forums from it. He's too busy watching sport.

I'm usually the chatty one on here and in the flesh! Though Fuzz when he has a couple of days off beats me hands down for flirting on the forums and chatting in general! I can't imagine that we are perceived in any way other than the way we actually are!

Nope its fab some people like the forums and others dont bother with them so i guess it could be the same with couples, i know when i was 1 half of a couple on here i couldnt get enough of the forums but the ex never even looked and couldnt care less but loved replying to messages.

Mrs here do 99.9% of posting , Mr pops in threads to have a gander might put his two pence in but he really can’t be bothered with the forum. However it’s no reflection on our little hobby of swinging as we’re both in it 100% together

Yep - this sums us up.... He watches sport, I come on the forums. I considered setting up a single profile, but that's not what we are about.

Anyway, you never know. He may just surprise me and post one day and then all of you will miss my little Nx signature - which btw, I only use so that people on forums know who is posting.

Mr doesn’t use the forums, he’s not so tolerant of the bs and would be banned lol. And he’s working a lot so tends not to use the site much. I’m just chatty more x

Same here - I like chatting & am just naturally drawn to chatting on line with most anyone. He just lets me get on with it although does think it's rather odd when we get random messages relating to forum posts until he realises why!

That's the case with us, I'm definitely the gobshite.

We both use the forums very regularly but have different stlys.

Before I had a single profile, we both used and posted equally on the couple profile.

I tend to mainly use this one now.

Any unsigned posts on the couple profile are probably me, forgetting which profile I'm on

Hubby is the witty one.

As a couple on forums the lady aka me does a lot of chatting and my man likes me to chat and be me. He enjoys me flirting and sometimes posts on our thread too we assume folk are couples on threads but would want to speak to both of the couple before a social would happen to ensure it was an actual couple
