I would definitely get off Fab and call an ambulance if your back is broken. I am praying for you.

What did your consultant advise?

I broke 1 vertebrae in my spine almost 2 years ago, but didn't know it at the time.

It was finally diagnosed 6 months later, but in meantime, I'd stopped heavy duties within my work, applied heat patches every 2 days, and attended hospital Gym twice a week for light exercise. All designed to take strain off my back.

Spinal consultant said, in my case, it was right course of action, but it could take about a year to settle down, be pain free and everything ok again. Reality was it took 15 months, but all ok now!

have you genuinely broken your back? If so massage won't fix it. When a close family member broke their back they were in a brace for months, hospital for a week and rehab for six weeks followed by a lengthy period of recovery at home.

if its broken, go to your doc, it its just sore, then i found that massage chiropractors etc just prolong the healing while costing a fortune, it will get better on its own, trust me i have tryed everything, mind you i have had back surgury in the past so may be different for you

I suffer from chronic back pain, there's lots you can do to help yourself. Keeping mobile I find helps immensely. Try plates or another non impact form of exercise to strengthen your core. Failing that Tramadol

Would you not be better visiting a medical professional rather than the forum?

None of us are Experts!

See your GP to start off with, and take it from there.

Everyone is different, with no 1 cure fitting all back problems.
