It doesnt matter to me what someone does for a living.

What I do doesnt define me - I have a job that pays my bills.

I'd be more likely to judge someone long term unemployed.

But then everyone has their reasons - being lazy and thinking the world owes you something is something I would judge.

The only occupations I can think of that would immediately put me off would be religious or political.

Journalists and lawyers would be given the benefit of the doubt until proven better or worse

I generally don't discuss occupation. I don't need to know their life story and they certainly aren't going to get mine.

I think the only occupation that would put me off would be Brexit MEP.

I'm not sure the OP meant just Fab meets.

Dont you talk with your vanilla friends about your life?

I was answering the second part of the question. In real life social situations I've never experienced people being judgemental. But then it's hard to be given the job I do.

It shouldn't matter I fail to see why anyone would mention it I know I don't. I do find though some in uniform peddle it as a badge of honour thinking it will open doors and people who use it in that way totally turn me off.

Occupation should not matter. I have slept with a dentist and she was well filled, a hairdresser who did a great blow & go and a blind waitress (I had to hand it to her).

I have met people who judged me. But to be quite Frank I had already taken a dislike and it meant nothing.

Anybody looking down on you, be it vanilla or fab meet, has done you a favour by revealing their true selves.

Occupation doesn’t put me off, but it might put people off me. I’m a wannabe nerd but not quite bright enough

Celebrity would probably put me on my guard, but don't think I have ever asked someone for their CV before sex.

We base any meeting or any communication on the people or individuals, not what they do or don't do.

It did this weekend. Found out last minute another couple was joining our group and when the male half of the couple asked what we both did, got an 'oh' a look away and end of conversation.

I think it's safe to say we didnt hit it off and hopefully will never see them again.

What people do for a living isn't really any concern of ours. As long as people earn an honest days living and aren't thieving scumbags, but then again would anyone admit they were a thief

I'm not sure it should matter, unless you've got access to some uniforms, some tend to like that

In the ahem vanilla world, if there actually is one, I’ve been for numerous dates over the last few years (nothing sexual, just dinner and an evening out) and n my limited experience that it does matter.... some ppl want to have a certain lifestyle and know that there potential half can accommodate that... some don’t like one travelling a lot for work or even working in different countries from time to time.

But personally what ppl do is there choice and I respect that choice

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

In the mainstream world it would matter a little. There are some working for right-wing think tanks and other organisations I would find it difficult to align with for a relationship.

On here it matters less than that they are respectful, clean and can engage my brain.

I haven't had a dentist or a vet on here. Any dentists or vets wanting to meet me? You have 6 weeks left.
