I,ve got rid of my i player and media player, so I,m not watching anything live on either device, I use a silk browser on my tablet and on there it gives you local news and national news the latest news is one hour old are you able to watch these kind of programmes as I,ve not downloaded any of them.. In otherwords I,m trying to stick to the law and I want to make sure I do without recieveing a hefty fine.. I used to be able to use a ethernet cable on windows which cut most of the buffering out on catch up but because I,m leaveing windows 7 (because of its shutdown in january) and going across to a chromebook I can,t use the ethernet cable so I would be back to square one again apart from that chromes operateing system looks good.. these tv licensing people don,t trust anyone they say that out of every 6 people one lies about needing a licence and they can pay a visit anytime to check you out I just want to feel 100% confident that I,m following the rules..

You can watch ANY non BBC program as long as it's not recorded live,I haven't watched live tv in about 20 years and as a result haven't got a licence...I still get threatening letters tho I just ignore em.

yes they like to make you feel uncomfortable by not being a licence payer they may have a job to do but its the way they come across I also forgot to mention I have a google mini a personal assistant and when I ask for the latest news its not live but its from the bbc in the last hour or so would that be a allowed? or even the weather forecast.. I,ll go on to google and see what they say.

Watch you don't accidentally put any BBC radio channels on

I could be wrong but I think it pays towards those aswell.

You can watch anything you want when you want to a degree.

However you got to know what sites are out there and how to look for them.

What sites are safe and whats not.

you get some sites that will spam you with loads of adverts but not supply you with anything to watch.

already seen

s angels

doctor sleep

black and blue

britony runs a marathon

watch any series you want

You haven’t needed a licence to listen to bbc radio for decades.
