They never work. Women who lap them up are stupid and men who think they work get stupid women and we all know that they don't like stupid women cos they only want ones they can shag the brains out of

Why would a woman want to reply to someone who write crud like that as a first message ?

Mates yes ... strangers no.

i think they work in person better, but its obviousily a case of who is using the line than the line itself, they just meant to make someone laugh and show some interest, from then the hard work starts!

i wouldnt think they be overly successfull in text messages on here unless of course the profiles one they were interested in anyways or its something very original that makes them laugh alot!

never use them myself but i dont really go chatting people up in public on nights out etc , but if i do i norm just ask if they wanna dance as usually works if they interested

they probs prefer something more personal to themselves and whats on their profile and why you contacted them, rather than a cheap chat up line

after all the message made her laugh, but what was in there to make her meet someone!

but on my profile it says im not meeting at the moment and that messages wont be replied too and often just deleted... so presuming that he read my profile he should have known that he was in effectively wasting his own time if he expected any kind of response

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

If they are clever and witty they might perk some initial interest to find out more about who sent it..... as long as the rest of the conversation doesn't rapidly go down hill.
