Home for me. Sitting in my lounge with a hot cuppa, watching the waves crash over the sea wall and the seagulls fighting the wind before finally allowing themselves to be swept along.

The sea soothes my soul and always lifts my spirits.

Hiding in the shadows

I've just got back from a walk on the beach

The lights along the pier, reflecting off the water is one of my favourite views

But the sunrise looking the other way can be quite breathtaking

Currently sat on a beach longer in Cape Verde watching the sea crash against the rocks.

I also love the Lake District, climb a mountain and just sit and admire the view. Much better with someone though

Probably Ticknock and the Wicklow Mountains.

I love going up as the weather is going to turn, seeing the bad weather roll in over the mountains towards me and behind me over Dublin city.

I love when the typical bad Irish weather hits, wind that causes the rain to almost be vertical, turning corners and feeling like you could be cut in half. I love seeing everything go grey and miserable.

It makes you feel alive, like youre actually an animal living on this planet, and in my case, family going back thousands of years you feel like this is what shaped you into who you are more than anything.

Then the weather breaks and everyting turns this green that you just cant believe, and you notice all these colours you didnt before, pinks, and purples everywhere, and youre alone cause every other person runs from the bad weather.
