Greggs Sausage Roll Tasting Notes

Alongside my steak bake I just ordered a vegan sausage roll to see what they are like.

Pastry pretty much the same as on a meat product..

Filling .. I honestly think in both taste and texture it is just like tuna. Actually quite tasty although the listed ingredients do put me off most processed food..

It's not sausage. They shouldn't be allowed to call it a sausage roll. It should just be called vegan roll.

This smells fishy...as the Greggs vegan sausage roll doesn't taste or have the texture like tuna

I tried one but wasn't impressed.

The ordinary veggie one is ok if you eat it hot, otherwise just like the meat one it congeals into a mass of hyrogonised fats...yuk

Its a shame they have ot process so many vegan products. I get the lack of fat and meat flavourings are hard to find an alternative for but when you look at the ingredients in some of these things I can't help but feel it can't be healthy.
