Ladies only: ladies, I would like to ask any of you that have large boobs how you deal with men and sometimes women staring at your breasts. Do you have a hard time getting bras at all?

La la land

Personally it used to affect my confidence a lot. Not helped by my ex who used to insist that they were always well covered in case someone could see them. So they became something to be ashamed of. When I was younger I was unable to wear clothing like my friends so again not brilliant. And have had men grope them in clubs when I was younger just because they were big.

Now however, I dress as I please and have far more confidence in myself. I'm never going to be able to pick up a blouse from a high st shop but there's plenty more I can.

I do love my boobs and i love the attention they get during sex but the flip side of that is buying bras is a nightmare and bloody expensive, men tends to stare or make lewd comments, smaller busted ladies say ooooh i wish i had boobs like yours. I tend to cover up a lot of the time jumpers, big tee shirts.

1. I would love to pay less than 100 bucks for a nice fitting, sexy bra that doesnt fold up or accidentally breaks, stabbing me in the tit, sometimes drawing blood, with the fucking useless underwire.

2. I would love to be able to purchase the matching set for less than that too.

3. I'm not sure if people are looking at my tits to fathom how big they are or to see if they move.

4. Table boob. Because I am also short, is a reality.

5. If I am washing dishes, or leaning over anything, I will get wet. My boobs have been in soup, pie, pudding, ketchup, you name it because of this. And hence the reason, I need stain remover on my clothing.

6. The above us why people stare too.

7. I love my boobs, they are natural, they are amazing, but I stare at others, especially fake breasts, in envy because they stay put and dont swing about when you take your bra off which could cause serious injury sometimes when you are in motion.

8. No one with huge knockers and my body is going to be a runner, or jogger. They just dont make support for that.

Smarty, I can only just understand what you go through. I get that your breasts can help you get served in a bar quicker, but you must have so much confidence to be yourself and say to the world 'fuck you', these are boobs, and I'm proud of them

Bemorefrida, I don't know what to say to that: that sounds like abuse to me. It must have affected you more than you say.

Hiding in the shadows

I hated mine!

Bras that felt like a straight jacket.

They hurt, always had back ache, trapped nerves in my neck & shoulders.

Trying to get clothes/dresses that fit a 60" chest, and a 30" waist. Impossible.

Always commented on, loudly, in public by men.

Lost count of how many times I've been groped!

So, I had them reduced.

3yrs ago yesterday actually.

Happy boob day

Preston

Check out boob or bust on Facebook or their webpage. They have amazing measuring and fitting advice and give really good support (no pun intended)

I totally relate to this, I have had a couple of consultations to have mine reduced, just need to save the pennies, even tried the NHS route, although I fit the criteria where I live they don't give funding so currently trying to save.

Do you regret your reduction or are you happy you did it? Any side effects etc.

I imagined that this subject would get some response, but what I see is the same thing said that bras and men are the main problem.

When I was younger I was constantly ashamed of having big boobs. No one at my school was the same so I stood out. I was groped too many times to mention, men talked to them rather than my face. They’ve caused me back ache, shoulder and neck pain.

I used to have to wear old fashioned bras that were anything but sexy, thankfully now there is much more choice. They have shrunk a bit with weight loss, but I’ve accepted they’re part of me now x

I guess it is the two main issues, it's so hard to find attractive matching bra sets etc for the larger than normal size, someone mentioned the Facebook page where they offer measurements etc, I just find I buy smaller bras sometimes so I feel sexy as very rarely bras are offered in a bigger size.

The first thing a man looks at and comments on is boobs I've found, but believe it or not if I take my bra off I'm so bloody self conscious and would rather keep it on

My GP referred me several times over the yrs, the NHS refused to fund it was deemed cosmetic, not medical.

I had been seeing Osteopaths & Chiropractors for years, they all agreed it was needed.

I have a long term spinal injury, I broke my back when I was 15, and have a curvature to my spine as a result.

The discs in my back were also deteriorating.

5yrs ago someone drove into me at a junction & I spent 6mths in a back brace, still NHS refused the op.

I decided then to go private.

It cost £6k.

No regrets, it totally changed my life, able to do things is not done for years, restart sports that I'd had to give up, gave me back a lot of confidence, able wear pretty clothes.

No side effects, I had a brilliant surgeon & the aftercare was perfect

I wish now I'd gone private in the first place years ago

I live in my own wee world where I notice nothing. So I never notice guys looking at my boobs

It’s really hard to get nice shaped bras that don’t cost a mortgage

I read somewhere that the NHS won't do reduction surgery as its classed as cosmetic. So it no seems that the NHS will do surgery on a strict criteria, but its also a lottery around the UK as to if you get surgery.

The majority of the time I just accept they are big and get on with it . I make jokes about them and it's ok.

However I'm feeling very self conscious at the moment . Holiday is looming and I just don't feel confident about a bikini or even swim wear. Not only do I have large breasts but a full on mummy tummy which I can't seem to shift.

I don't want my son's embarrassed by me and I fear I'll already stick out in the resort as the only single parent there at Xmas.

I've bought so many things but feel I can't wear any of them

I used to be conscious, especially when it was my chest being spoken to and not my face. Now I embrace them, so to speak. They are a part of me x

I used to feel like that about swimming with my son's. Until someone pointed out that they would notice me not participating rather than my big mum tum and boobs x

I've grown into my boobs, When in my teens, I would hunch my shoulders over, round them to make the boobs look smaller. I've been teased and as for men staring; that's just a daily occurance.

The funniest was a partner at a HUGE firm in London was talking to my boobs, when I very gently placed my finger under his chin and lifted his face so that he could actually talk to ME. Silence in the room but everyone got the message!

I've grown to absolutely LOVE my boobs. They even got a LOT bigger after having children, something I now revel in.

I've gone topless on beaches; not for long as it was empty one minute and the guys playing football wayyyy down the beach, suddenly discovered they need to play right beside where I was lying!

I've learnt to embrace my HH cups (with a very small back) and Bravissimo does some lovely bras, so no problems getting the right size or huge costs.

To be honest, I would adore if they were even bigger; madness but true!

Best thing I ever did was have mine reduced. I'm still a big girl but way more confident than before

Only side effect was some lack of feeling in certain areas but luckily not all.

It is a big decision though as like with any ok things can go wrong

Chams or Socials

Paying £80 for a Prima Donna bra was money well spent. My boobs are where they should be & my posture is better. They wash really well - mine has taken a battering as I wear it every day & it still does the job a year later.

I became a DD and 6ft at 13 so I've been stared at my whole life, luckily avoided nasty comments or groping and then I became a H at 35 after breastfeeding my child and they never went down when I stopped. I only hated them when my relationship broke down as I lost my confidence so I used to cover them up.

As I regained my confidence I fell back in love with them and again walk proud showing them off. m&s is where I get my bras from
