"In Sweden we have these saffron buns at the 13th of December, and I always make those as well. Delicious and yellow and pretty They're called lussekatter" You make them into an S shape with the currants? I sometimes put cherries or use almond flour in them to give them a denser flavour but they are very very very popular here too!

But raisins, not currants, normally. But that's nice, never seen them in the UK, but it's one of my favourite holiday traditions

"Saffron is so expensive here, is it expensive over there? Might have to take a look next month and compare. " It is expensive, yeah. But not that much is needed for lussekatter I usually use a gram, which would run at about £2 in Sweden, I think

It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it lol lol. (Thanks muffin- it's about the same in Sweden as here.)

"I bake for a bakery/coffee shop and we have already got our influx of holiday orders, cakes, trays etc etc. Flour, btw, gets everywhere. ANYWAYS - What kind of baked goods do you all like to see or have or bake around the holidays, or if you could even have a tin of fresh baked items what creations would you want it to be? (Btw if I think its interesting, chances are I will make it!) " Can you adopt me please! I love cake
