Hi all,

As I sit here holding my snake, boa constrictor, not what you were thinking I was wondering what the lovely people of FAB do in there spare time, I'm a huge wrestling fan, AEW especially and keep snakes as a hobby, does anyone else have any unsual hobbies? Or anything outside the world of swing that makes them tick?

I restore classic cars, in the past I have re built an MGB roadster which I still have, I made a Jaguar XJ6 into a pickup truck, I finished rebuilding a military land rover last year and now I'm part way through a 1965 MK2 Jag, not as unusual as your snake but it keeps me busy

I quite enjoy walks with my dog and kids, we have beautiful Forestry Walks and Natures Reserve’s just outside the front door and not far from Castle Ruins, Beaches and the odd Country House. I enjoy taking photographs of our wanderings.

I’m currently considering whether I’m too old/fat/unfit to take up Kickboxing, as I took my eldest Tuesday night and it looked quite exciting.

280, 180, 260. That was at a much higher bodyweight around 122kg, still not that strong for that weight.

Now under 110kg and numbers are coming back up after recovering from injuries. I reckon I can surpass those at the lower bodyweight.

Got the bugatti and star destroyer, new falcon and emperor's flagship are due to be delivered this weekend

I've got the falcon from when force awakens was released, how good is the buggatti to build, got a new job with a pay rise so I'm thinking a treat may be in order

The bugatti has complicated moments in the build, not as painful as building the landrover, gearbox in that model was a pain to do"

I wasnt even aware there was a land rover to be honest! But I have also seen there is a yoda model been released which I will be buying

I juggle fire, throw axes and walk my dog.

Occasionally I get them confused but those are generally really good days.

But not always for the dog

"I want to get back into machine polishing cars (vans etc) as find it very relaxing.

Once ankle back to normal, back to shooting people.

I'm big into car detailing but polishing I can't do, dont have a machine and i really dont have the effort and time to hand polish!

I used to teach it, how to use da and rotary, plus jewling etc.

Also ag trained.

Now if i had a unit........

"

Ah wow! See I'm very much a weekend warrior when it comes to detailing, I use a spray wax instead of a hard wax and stuff, but enjoy what I do

"weights, mma/bjj and we have four asian forest scorpions all called bob

You have no idea how much I want to move into scorpions and taruntulas! Are scopions fairly easy to keep? yep. its cleaning the tank is a pain. they basically just venture out for food and water and disappear again. with the three small ones we can play a game called find the scorpion. very rare we win though

I can imagine there a lot harder to spot than a near 7ft boa constrictor lol, love wandering around exotic pet shops and seeing the scorpions in there though"

Dont get caught like we did though. We bought one starting off. was told it was a male. Less a year later bob comes out covered in all this white stuff. turns out it was a small army of baby scorpions. Bob was a she and apparently scorpions can store sperm for up to a year so can get pregnant at any time in that year. nearly lost my shit when i seen it. Hence we now have four. Ill be seperating them soon enough. I cant be dealing with 4 kids and fuck ton of scorpions

Jesus! Yeah snakes can also store sperm for 2 seasons! Luckily I got my python as a hatchling and daisy hadn't been bred so missed a bullet there but I bet that was a shock to the system! Do they need big tanks? Or are they like turantulas with limited space

they are in a big tank at the minute but they will all be going into a smaller tank now. once they have somewhere to hide/sleep and drink they are pretty much happy. obviously you need the heating mat and light and that but i think a small tank like a tarantula one is more than suitable for them

Im guessing its UV lights as opposed to a heating light if you use a heat mat aswell, my royal uses a mat and my boa uses a ceramic heat emmiter but the boa is in a 6ft viv!

Nothing exciting or unusual here I'm afraid. I repair and refurbish old and out of date furniture. Either refinishing to original state or sometimes repainting and completely redesigning...

I relax within or around Old Transport, namely, Trucks, Buses & Coaches and Steam Trains.

I totally lose myself when attending Transport Museums or at Rallies.

I'm not an "anorak" standing on a station platform or at a bus station noting "numbers". I just like the designs & style aspects plus seeing old transport.

I like to grow stuff, I'm in a Gardening Club, a Book Club, I go to Line Dancing and I play table tennis, I collect vinyl records, Lilliput Lane cottages and crystal. I ride my bicycle and go to the gym to keep fit. I absolutely love to cook and collect cook books. I have a passion for riding bikes and can legally ride Vespas and Lambrettas as I've recently passed my bike test.
