Yes but it's not going to happen. Too many people are pulled in by it and don't have compassion for animals, so overlook it.

It seems to me that there is a hierarchy that some humans place over wildlife.. it's ok to taunt a snake or a rat or a spider but if it were a koala, a dog or a badger the British public would be up in arms...

This reality crap is just pathetic and it really is a platform for the has beens and wannabes to attention seek.

As for the cruelty aspect, I agree. Not sure what is entertaining about scaring critters and eating live bugs.

Just because they animals used aren't cute and furry it seems their lives hold less or no value.

All life is valid, and all life has a place on earth. At least bugs are useful to the ecosystem, humans seem intent on destorying that.

Bizarre.

It was with the military so yeah it was done for a good reason, the scenario being that you're cut off behind enemy lines and have to build shelter and survive off the land before you can be rescued.

I hope the animals are not killed just so that the guests can eat their private parts for entertainment. The live crocodiles, rats, scorpionsm crabs, and snakes are probably put under enormous stress as they are dumped inside a box with a screaming, hand waving, feet kicking celebrity. Wonder how many animals died from internal injuries or heart attacks.

Wildlife expert Chris Packham wrote an angry letter to the show a few years ago and complained that it was portraying wild intelligent animals with a terrible negative stereotype, so that when one of those creatures are seen by the public, the public are more inclined to kill it out of fear, or frighten it into attacking because of its own desire to defend itself, and he pointed the finger of blame at the show. He said it could easily become an entertainment and 'educational' show, but I guess educational shows don't have high TV ratings.

Hillside desolate

"I hope the animals are not killed just so that the guests can eat their private parts for entertainment.

"

Well, you've convinced me.

Do you think that when huge spiders and creepy crawlies are in your house they might be on some insect version of " I’m A Creepy Crawley … Get Me Out Of Here! ?

Where they enter a house and have to do tasks like

"Run across the living room floor undetected"

Make a spider cob in a doorway so a human walks into it

It's a con anyway. No human can be injured during the making of this show. Sadly they don't mind finishing off the wildlife..

"I agree.

Eating live insects for "fun" is wrong on so many levels.

It's entertainment for the feebleminded.

"

They’re not eating live creatures this year and never will again.

in the night garden

I ate a dried locust today and it's texture was that of a wafer biscuit and it's flavour was that of an old piece of mud wrapped in a dead scrotum inside of a putrid peanut. Dense and earthy. Just how I like it.
