Is it nicer to delete, block or say not for us

We fairly clear on profile what we are after

And I basically show her a picture and if she does not find the person slightly attractive it’s a no

But I feel bad saying not our type etc

But is that best or just ignore

For me it depends on the message whether I say sorry not for me or just delete.

Block is for those that are just vile in their message or won’t take no as an answer

It depends.

If its someone completely out of the blue and they don't match your preferences, then i would say block.

If you have asked for a picture and they have sent that and it's not your cup of tea, I would say. "Thanks for the pic, you are not for us, happy swinging"

Well I've always been of the school we're all grown ups so a simple honest and straight to the point no thanks is the way forward. Saves complications and confusions. However judging from some of posts on the forums about abuse in response maybe some of us aren't well adjusted adults. So maybe a simple delete sends the message too (and block if you want nothing further to do with them).

We have just deleted the message before if they are not for us. But then get a message an abusive message back.

We have also sent a message back saying not for us sorry to get another abusive message back.

Also sending a message back opens it up for them to just keep messaging you when you've told them there not for us.

So really what is the best way to deal with people who are not for you, We are finding just block and delete now.

Great post and topic. Learning how to handle this situation is hard. We have had same dilemma twice. Fist time we both messaged by couple exchanged pic an got a not for us message. Excepted and moved on

Second time we exchanged messages with another couple they sent photo and we said not for us.

We have not yet met anyone from this site. Cammy has decided that for now she doesn’t want to stop looking but at the moment is not ready to meet.

Just block. Easier.quicker. men just got to accept it just means no and nothing personal. I had men unmatched me on dating sites, same difference
