Have you ever met a person and you thought yes they are "the one". I thought I did actually I still do think he is the one. He was everything I was looking for in a man ticked every box I had.. However it never worked out.. I am not sure I will ever meet anyone else that ticks all the boxes...

Yes some 25 years ago. We were together 3 years. He was all I wanted in a guy. Unforntunatly we split up and both of us were too pig headed to get back in touch with each other.

I have met other and eventually got married, but he was the only one who ticked everybox.......Hey ho.

I have been on here 3 years... I use this site for certain things and othetr sites for other means.. I know what I want on here an I know what I want on the other sites...

I don't personally believe in 'the one'. I think people can get so hung up on the idea that they have met and lost 'the one' that it stops them from seeing the full potential in others. There is nearly 7billion people, bound to be a few that are perfect for you but, it may be hard to find them...

yeah i did once

a guy i met at a party, he was also on here and he came and chatted to me as he recognised me from off here, i met him on a personal level several times after the party and he was perfect for me, however i knew it was wrong to fall for someone on here so i told him i didnt want to see him anymore, was a bit odd as he kept asking me if everything was ok and if he had upset me but i just told him no it was just time to move on as i felt it was wrong of me to tell him i was starting to have feeling for him as swinging isnt for that, he mailed me and text me for a few weeks after but as i kept ignoring his messages he just died off

some times i think you have to put your brain before you heart and im sure in the long run it was for the best

Yep, met mine on the 1st dec 1991, we dated and were engaged for 5yrs, he was in the forces and im a home bird and when it came to marrying him i couldnt. Thankfully 21yrs later he is still one of my closest friends and confidents. We both went off and married others and i deeply regret not being able to talk to him about my concerns and worries, as now we talk freely about anything and everything

Thank you for all the advice... Now I am not one to fall in love easily.. Believe it or not and I have met a few that I thought I loved but when I think about it, It was just infatuation and not love. This guy was totally different and knocked my socks off..

I get that it has to be mutual and it was he was the one texting and calling and just being a warm and gentle person... I miss him but you know what that is life and I can't go in the what if's and the hope that we get back together because that aint going to happen.. Yes I now believe I have experienced love.. If I don't ever experience it again then hey ho...

I am a great believer in whats meant to be will be and I have to go by that.. Its the no contact bit that is killing me and I have deleted everything.. thrown away the flowers he brought me the day before he dumped me erased the texts and messages we sent.. He has erased all the pictures we had together (facebook). I do wish him well and hope that he finds someone that ticks the boxes...

I can't explain the connection there was.. I guess I have to put it down to experience.. I am not sure if I will meet another person like him.. I might meet someone better but I can say I won't meet anyone like him..I think I pushed him away.. I have been on fab 3 years and I don't seek love on here.. However we all even as swingers have emotions and we all still crave certain things. I crave the family I hope that one day I will get to experience that...
