So some McDonald's workers have gone on strike today wanting to be paid £15 per hour.

Full time, that's a salary over £30k

There are more skilled trades Maccy Ds that on average pay less

Should be the living wage at least though

Its probably a realistic wage based on the costs of living etc and when compared to how much train drivers earn. But it's not a realistic wage when compared to other wages (skilled trades, nurses etc).

But it's a negotiating tactic, better to start high and get pushed down a little than start low.
