Love there Sunday roast

Watched the staff today turn loads of people away for dinner because they had a table booked for 23 people.

Then the 23 fucking lot didn't turn up. !!

Used to get so angry about that back in the day. Started taking deposits for groups of 10 or more...once we explained why, people were usually absolutely fine with it.

Maybe the group forgot? It happens.

I used to run a pub, would always ask for a deposit from groups of 10 or more and would follow up with a call on the day, surprising how many people forger or get their days mixed up
