Since using this site I have noticed that almost all the profiles are none smokers.

Considering there are millions of smokers in the UK, where are they!?

Surely we can't all be none smokers. Are people stating they don't smoke to get meets?

Ive got few stressfull hurdles to get over and then im back on the wagon, i need to smoke right now to curb my anxiety (that ive never suffered with before) plus its helping me sleep, when i quit i got really bad insomnia (probably due to the extra oxygen in my blood)

I smoked fags for 17 years and I gave up in New years eve 2012. I tried everything to give up and I found electronic cigarettes the best.

But you know it's just swapping one form of nicotine intake for another. Lowering the nicotine intake a little each time you buy a bottle is the way to quit nicotine easily.

I do understand non smokers. I stopped for a while a few years ago and began to smell it on others. I realised then how it was for non smokers.

I do wish I had not started again but hey ho.

We are both 420 smokers and we openly say that on our profile so people are fully aware. We know it's not to everyone's taste but we have our reasons. It's never stopped us getting meets though, honesty is the best way, you can't hide the smell of smoke from a non smoker

I know. The NHS understands it too and the associated health risks, hence why they're happy to help with smoking cessation.

I’m a smoker, it’s stated on my profile and I have no care to hide it.

Smoking areas are usually the most social areas.

What does confuse me is when people message me and it clearly says in their profile they won’t meet smokers but when I tell them I do it doesn’t seem to matter anymore.

Yes plenty of people lie about it, probably more than are honest about it. They want to keep the pool of people who may be willing to meet them as large as possible.

I'm not a fan of that, nor am I a fan of those mentioned, who "won't meet smokers" but then all of a sudden have no issue with it. Like others say, stick to your word, most of the time it's all we have to go on so make it fucking count. When the mind is changed so easily it makes me think "flimsy" and I'd rather have "headstrong and accountable"
