I tend to wear thick socks with the shoes that need stretching and walk around the house doing chores etc...

Bradford

Bicycle Inner tube, feed it in, blow it up so that it expands inside the shoe and puts pressure on the fabric of the shoe not fires itself back out.

Worked for a pair of boots, dont know how well for shoes it might just shoot out of the top.

I heard this one. Also, a shoe repairers will probably do it for a few quid ... if they're leather it'll be easier

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

If they are leather... wear a wet pair of thick socks and walk around the house for a bit.... the leather with stretch more easily when wet.

Obviously you need to wear the shoes as well.
