Looks like you have the water wings to keep you afloat

Jesus. It’s wonderful. Took me 3 hours to drive 52 miles last night because every dam road was either closed or some twat decided to drive through a big puddle pretending he was James Bond and get stuck. Thankfully today it’s Cleared up a bit but some of the rivers are wild

The great thing about the vast majority of the west midlands is that it's on top of a big fucking hill

Mold

Home in N Wales the river had flooded for the sixth time this year

Water levels are about 7 feet higher than they should be.

And there's so much debris in the river there's more a log jam a beaver would be proud of.

In "normal" conditions it's created a four foot change in the water levels above and below.

The Environment Agency (NRW in Wales) haven't got a f'ing clue

local, but not too local

I’m cut off but safe, dry, have food and all the services (even Internet) are working.

"Sheffield has had it bad "

Indeed. My carpark was flooded. RIP to a couple cars in there (not mine). Resulted from raining continuously all night and following day.

Derby/shire has had it pretty bad

My friend said her drive home normally takes her 40 minutes but it took her over 4 hours tonight.

Bristol East

I hear Jacob Rees-Mogg is paying a visit. He's urging people to use "common sense" and ignore the advice of the emergency services lol.

The trains are being disrupted and not going any near Doncaster. My trip back to the Midlands yesterday by train had reduced carriages, seat reservations cancelled and was 27 minutes late.
