"How do you guys feel about Lethal Weapon? It does take place at Christmas..."

Not seen it for a while. How much does Christmas play a part?

If it's little more than a mention then no. Otherwise yes.

Well, at the end, Riggs celebrates Christmas with the Murtaughs. And I'd say Christmas is visible throughout, but it' in a warm state, so it seems summery...

With using that as a requirement you just disqualified Die Hard... it’s Christmas time and there is a Christmas party for like three minutes...

Isn't the song that plays over the opening credits "jingle Bell Rock"??

Also (and its been a while since I've seen it, so could be mistaken) I'm pretty sure one of the opening scenes is riggs taking down some dodgy guys in a Christmas tree lot. Like you say, it just doesnt register as a Christmas film as its sunny throughout

But the plot is based around him going to visit because it is Christmas. Without Christmas, John mclane would not be there.

It's weird though. I think of Wizard of Oz as a Christmas movie, and the James Bond films, but only because both were on the TV at Christmas all the time when I was growing up
