I realise this is a swinging site and it might seem out of place so I apologise, but my life has completely turned upside down and I could really do with a friend right now. I am just moving to outside London and I know absolutely nobody or the area at all.

It would be better if you were not far from me so that we could meet up if we did decide to and I realise this might sound weird, but ideally a women, only because it is much easier to talk openly with a woman than another guy (feelings and stuff yuk lol).

This has nothing to do with sex, you can say take sex off the table if it would make you feel more comfortable and I hope people don't tell me to go and get professional help if I want to talk, because I would like to make a new friend after moving that I can really talk to and is genuinely caring.

I also like to listen and help other people too, so please don't think this is a one way street. A friendship works both ways.

I know I have made myself sound sad and pathetic, I don't think I could have don't it any other way while being able to explain what I am looking for. So now that I have humiliated and embarrassed myself enough I hope that something will come of this and please don't be shy

Have you tried the Meetup site? They have groups for people to make friends.

Or maybe try the Meets, UK or London sections of the forum. Have a look for local socials. Good for meeting new people.
