It does bug me when i see a profile stating (no Pics = no reply) when they person or couple saying that have no pics of there own.

Does anybody else come up against similar annoyances?

Loads of annoyances, like those who random friendship request but its obvious they haven't read my profile, those who send a picture attached to a first message that is on public display, I mean do I really want to see their cock again? Even more pointless when its their flaming profile picture!

Those who cannot read status but ask to chat when I am doing both jobs, those who show off because we chat in an evening but then they expect me to stay up all night chatting to them

Single guys that moan after a week here but seem to have been verified

Single guys that just want dirty chat because they are horny

Those in their 40's that send txt talk messages

If they do that in their first message, its then obvious they haven't read my profile

Those who cannot read profile's, they look at the pictures then send a message

Idiots that I haven't met live the opposite end of the country so there is no chance of meeting and invite me on holiday with them, what a totally bloody ridiculous dangerous idea

Ah now with the friend request button, I have had some difficulty with that myself in that when I want to wink at someone it can quite often send a friend request. Very annoying indeed grrrr

As for the OP, I reckon those that have no photo's but demand pics are blokes pretending to be women. Saw one demanding naked pics! Just some sad fake looking for a cheap thrill.

Why is it hypocrisy?

They may believe that their profile demonstrates they are so desirable that they can expect more of others than they will provide themselves.

Delusion is not a synonym of hypocrisy.

Any why bother complaining about it?

The OP raises a point which bothers him to see if others agree... Which clearly some do...

don't message them then.... no one is holding a gun against ya head forcing you to..

people are fully entitled to make demands... however if people don't cowtow to them in the pursuit of getting their legover, the demands would disappear.....

No it's not. I routinely ask people to do things I won't do. I ask electricians to fix my household wiring. I won't do that. That doesn't make me a hypocrite, because hypocrisy relates to moral standards or beliefs. If someone believes they are so gorgeous that they can demand of others things they won't do themselves they are not hypocrites.

Want a practical example? The queen demands that I accept that I am her subject, but she would not accept that she is my subject. That's not hypocrisy; it;s a genuinely held belief on her part, but it won't save her from being put up against a wall come the revolution (only joking folks...)

It gets worse.. I had someone tell me that they needed a face photo or would block me.. This was after they told me I had a great profile... Erm.. if I have such a great profile.. how come they didnt notice my face is in ALL my photos.. lol

I have now come to the conclusions that you can't change people and their profiles (They want to change for themselves).

Judge people by your standards, if they don't meet yours, move onto the next and see if that meets your standard

Absolutely. It makes me think "how dare you?"

I can understand if their pix are private & for friends only but when you see that they have zero pix then why should they expect or demand others to.

because I have a job that see's me very much in the public eye and I only meet people who are local to me so I would like to make sure your not a family member, client, neighbour ect. . before getting into a chat/meet conversation.

of course they can demand... they're doing you a favour, right...

some can have pictures but have all of them private, so they don't show up at all, but you'd think if they had anything about them they'd send something along with a message...

We'll have to agree to differ because I don't recognise your definition of hypocrisy. Thinking you are so desirable or important you can expect of others things you won't do yourself is not hypocrisy. It's not a moral issue; actually, you're helping me understand something about the way in which people on Fab all too often make a moral issue out of things they don't like, as if everything is a moral issue. It's not. Sometimes it's just that you don't agree with other people's estimate of their own value - nothing more...
