Iv always been a big believer in working class estate kids being the best athletes the fact they have seen true poverty or violence but have the mental strength to push thru all that adversity and temptation from friends to resort to things a bit less legal to chase there dream

Over a posh kid who had it all handed to him/her but could be genetically stronger from better lifestyle diet growing up

But what do u think

I think there are impressive athletes from all socioeconomic backgrounds.

I think it is down to genetics, natural ability, determination and a willingness to learn.

Don't think any of those attributes have much to do with a socio-economic demographic?

Adding to my post above, it does also depend on being able to fund or get access some sporting facilities or resources.

I think it comes down to natural ability and finding someone who recognises that ability and actively encourages it and nurtures it to help it grow.

Central

Some opportunities do help to improve abilities.some of them can arise from financial advantages 0but it's not essential.
