Do you ever recommend people that you’ve met? I don’t mean in the form of a verification but in conversation with others on here?

No, I don't ever talk about the people I've met with others on here. And i'd hate it if somebody recommended me to someone else!

I don’t meet in the whole sex sense, but often recommend other people that are particularly lovely that someone may enjoy getting to know...

It wouldn't be for me. The goldicock for me might not be the same for someone else.

Oh I did say when someone asked me that such and such a person was really lovely and I think they'd get on but I'd never "met" him as such.

No I wouldn't. There's a guy I know from here I would absolutely love to set up with a non-fab friend of mine though, I think they'd get on great. Can you imagine the how did you meet story though ? "Oh my best friend tested him out first through a swingers site !"

Fully agree with the goldicock comment, what works for me isn't necessarily for someone else.

I guess my situation was a bit different.

I had flirted with BDSM but Domme didn't work for me. One of the subs I'd played with asked me to put a word in with another Domme we knew, so I did.

The site we met on didn't have the verification feature of this one, so it tended to run on word of mouth at social get-togethers. One of the many reasons it folded I suppose - most people (me included) don't want to think their sexual habits are a topic of social conversation.

Yes.

Not in a sexual sense, I wouldn't openly discuss those details but I've been asked about certain people, what they're like.

I'm more than happy to say how nice they are, if they are

No and I'd hope no one would do that to me.

This is what I meant in the original post. I mean people that you’ve met that you might say ‘they were a lovely person’ etc. Not how well they did in bed.

No, I still wouldn't be drawn into conversation about someone I've met. But I'm quite a private person, maybe overly so.

Have you recommended someone before OP?

I've been thinking about it and there has been a couple of times when that's actually happened to me. Last year someone suggested to me I message someone because he was really lovely, similar industry and we'd get on really well because we're both sexy nerds (my words not hers. ). They hadn't met so maybe it's not the same as your OP. I said there's no chance he'd remember me or be interested and she said no Meli go for it, he will be. She knew me well and had more faith in me than I do. If you're reading this, thank you.

And fuck do I waffle.

I have discussed going to socials with some people I’ve met and they have asked me about certain people. I have said who I thought were really nice people. I used to display my verifications so sometimes people would ask me about someone I had met. I don’t display them anymore and I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s nobody else’s business who I’ve met. So I’m less likely to get asked.

If I have 2 friend's, who I thought would get on, and one asked about the other, then I'd be happy to give the other a thumbs up.

That's sort of what this site is about, isn't it?

"Do you ever recommend people that you’ve met? I don’t mean in the form of a verification but in conversation with others on here? "

Absolutely. Swinging is a social event.

I am not going to go into details about what I may or may not have done with anyone, ever. But if a friend asks me about someone, or I think two people would hit it off, I'll definitely put in a good word to each.

I've been on another site where friends regularly encourage each other to get together when it seems they are a match.

Swinging is so very different than finding a sex partner.
