What things cheer you up when a day goes bad/wrong etc?

It's only a question, the only thing that went wrong with my day is at the macdonalds drive through they gave me a white coffee instead of a black one.

Dogs, gotta love when dogs come to see you and want to play.

I think music is always a great answer and fantastic way to either wind down or up for the night.

.

A hug from a loved one. I've had a tough busy week and the thing that's cheering me up are messages from friends asking how I am. It sounds a bit daft but just knowing that people care about me is lovely.

My dogs. Without doubt those 2 bastards can lift you, even just slightly out of a bad mood.

Currently nothing in my life compares.

Cuddles from my kids. Cuddle from my dog if he’s in the mood and not wanting to play fight so he can “pretend” to rip my arm off.

Uplifting music. Bubble bath with lovely smelling bath stuff. Scented candles. An open fire. A decent cup of tea. Small bit of chocolate.

And if all else fails a sad film to blub along to.

Central

Stopping for a few minutes, rest and relaxation. Deep, slow breathing, if I feel the need.

Get a cup of tea and enjoy it. Getting into some natural environment is wonderful.

Some good exercise

Cats have their own way of telling you how much they love you. Mine do, anyway

Your cats may be, but comments are what a forum is about. I'm not being nasty, just merely stating I don't like cats due to their promiscuity and how they actually use and have multiple owners. Dogs are loyal to one owner.

If unfortunate circumstances arose and a person died in the same room as a cat/dog the cat would eat the person whereas a dog would starve to death.

And also each to their own.

I'm glad your cats make you happy.

You are right you don’t understand cats. If I died at home my cats would certainly starve to death, they don’t ever eat meat.

Your reasons for not liking cats are silly, it’s a cats nature to hunt for food if they go out and it’s usually people who offer them food and why they visit other homes.

Dogs, I love them, I had one for 12 years but cats are far more intelligent.

Maybe if you read up on cats you may understand them a touch more.
