Do they have little Christmas images baked on the top?

If so yes, too early!

If no, eat them all and get more!

It's like with a winter coat, if you keep it on when you're inside, then you won't feel the benefit when you go out into the cold, aka Christmas....

I have my first for the Christmas season after remembrance, so after the service a coffee and a mince pie. It was a tradition with my Parents when I was growing up, that I've carried on into adulthood.

Sea of jelly and doughnuts

I'm not a fan pf the traditional mince pice as I dislike.... Ok I hate mixed peel so I now make my own version with a Tropical theme.

I add pineapple and spiced rum a homage to my Jamaican grandma

I’ve also found a recipe to make shortbread mince pies, so will be giving that a go in the next few weeks...

I started macerating the dried fruit in RedLeg spiced rum this evening, tomorrow I'll add the fresh pineapple, apples, brown sugar and vegetable suet.
