What do you do if someone messages you, and they're not your type! I am always polite but have been called a racist because I'm not attracted to black or Asian men!

That's not the case.. I just can't make myself feel something I don't! Theres someone for everyone, so no need to be aggressive?

When I get a message from someone I am not attracted to, I just say so without saying that I am not attracted to their size dress, boobs size, shoes size, vegina size, knee size, skin colours, religious, social or political background.

If they want a reason, I say I am gay, if they are men, I say that I am a heterosexual who fuck women's anuses.

I am of an Indian origin and I have been politely declined a few times. I respect the other person's decision and I move on. I also thank them for their honesty. There is no hard feelings as you cannot force people to like you!

I agree we all have preferences and u have to have some attraction or it won't work. To be honest whether u reply or not folk can get nasty. If people read ur profile and it says preferences it would save a lot of hassle. Unfortunately we had lots of messages but most clearly hasn't read the profile

You cant necessarily define all preferences in a profile though, sowm ppl just have a face that is wrong or looks dishonest.... and them how so you tell them you don't like the look of their face despite them being perfect in paper....?

I get I'm not everyone's cuppa. Sometimes gets frustrating when you have no intention of meeting and just making a passing comment on a profile/status just to see it get deleted.

Just delete their message and if they get arsey block them... Think that's been said but yeah they're right. I personally don't understand how people can disqualify an entire colour of person as I see beauty in all colours, shapes and sizes. Good piece of advice is to state what you do like instead of what you don't. People are always going to get offended if you are rejecting them based on nothing but their skin colour. Remember, like it or not, you are essentially saying that no matter how good looking or fit they are, you find them unattractive based on the hue of their skin

I’m with Mavis. If you had a “one size fits all” policy and just politely declined every person that didn’t tickle your fancy - why would you need to make a forum post asking for advice on how to reject, specifically, persons of a non-white origin without “hurting their feelings”?

Surely the fact that you feel that you have to treat people differently, based on nothing other than their racial origin suggests that there’s possibly an underlying issue?

But if you think you have to treat people of a non white British origin differently to those who are white British - that makes you a racist.

Yes, that's what I was wondering.

But some non white people take any rejection as racist, so that's why I was asking what was said.

"I don't fuck black/ asian men" would get a certain response I'm sure.

If they chuck in the racism card to a simple "no thank you" reply then the issue is theirs and not worth worrying about.

There’s no need to say I’m not attracted to you because you’re Asian or I’m not attracted to you coz you’ve got a big nose or you’re bald. I think people create problems for themselves to be honest. Are you saying sorry I’m not attracted to Asians? If so why? Surely thanks but no thanks is enough. Or are they saying is it because I’m Asian/black/bald or whatever.
