Surviving the next five and a half weeks

Yes, the thing that must not be named happens in December (no, not Xmas...)

SO how are we going to survive the next five and a half weeks? I'm playing round with ideas - a couple of extra books a week, maybe a new or long forgotten album a day, maybe writing an episodic porn story or collection of erotic vignettes. How are the rest of you Fabbers goin g to distract yourselves from the ghastly mediocrity of the grid driven news cycle?

"Politics board?!"
That's what I'm desperately trying to avoid (I believe the correct spelling is bored...)

Seriosuly though, nothing that happens in the next five and a half weeks will change my vote, so I'm light heartedly trying to avoid talking about it....

I stopped watching the news because it's just depressing. I knew about the election but will be switching off on that too
