Its all about getting peoples interest. Its how you do that that makes the difference. A personal message gets more attention people then look at profiles and if the profile is interesting you might get a reply if its lacking probably not.

A lot will look at a profile first before deciding whether to message you back. You haven't asked for advice therefore it can't be given. There's a few pointers on mine. X

Be seen, post in the forums, user chatrooms, go to socials, let people get to know you for who you are

Don't appear that your whole raison d'être is to get meets, even if that it's your drive

Just be yourself and you may be surprised how it works ...

But don't expect instant results ...

We reply to messages like yours. We rep!y to messages that just say "hi". We tend to base our decision to meet someone on the quality of the communication that follows the initial message. You look fine, you have an attractive face.

I would reply to a message like that if after looking at their profile I find them appealing, closeish etc.

I don't think it's your look either.

No, hundreds of men send that exact same message. Stand out. Be interesting, not boring.

And maybe; if someone doesn’t find you attractive they aren’t likely to reply

That's definitely not enough. We get a few of those and they are instant deletes.

If somebody were approaching us, we'd want them to say something "Hello Luke and Hannah. I saw your profile and I liked it because... I thought we'd be a good match because... It would be good to hear from you." and then sign off with their name.

Ask yourself this: Have I written anything, either in my message or profile, this isn't instantly forgettable and the same as everybody else? Have I demonstrated to the person I'm writing to that I am actually genuinely interested in them?

If the answer is no then that should tell you something significant.
