Gents would you consider shaving your beard just to meet someone?

Sherborne

No.

I wouldn't ask a woman to change her appearance just for a meet.

If they have a problem with it

They can fuck off.

Can imagine how much you would kick off if men requested you did something to your body just for a meet,

I shave my pussy and legs for a meet men don't mind shaving off their beard to meet me as they know I don't find it attractive.

It always grows back.

Hiding in the shadows

Quite a while ago, a message from someone

It was a very nice message, so I replied & politely declined.

He then asked if I thought his beard put people off, I replied that it may, but some would like it

Next thing I get a photo, he'd shaved it off.. And asked if I'd meet him now

It was a fine beard, I almost cried, and felt awful saying I still wasn't intrested

I quite like a bit of facefuzz, but I have to like the person under it too

Guys should just keep them if they want to its a personal choice after all. If people won't meet them because of it then that's life I am sure there are lots of clean shaven men who will fill the void.

Beards are fine, I'll meet anyone with one. However, and I do explain this to men with longer or excessive beards that the chances of anything sexual happening are zero. I have very sensitive skin, and for some reason facial hair or longer pubic hair can really exacerbate that condition, to the point of welts, rashes and reactions to whatever soaps or scents they use.

I am only suggesting this as I am not the only person who this affects, and it is a hidden detractor some may not want to speak to as it can seem insensitive or even come across as just plain mean.

I don't have a big viking beard but wouldn't shave mine off.

Would you say to a lady oh I really want to meet you but can you change your hair colour! Something tells me all ladies would tell you to do one!

Depends on who you are. Some might some might not.

I suppose looking on it from a woman’s perspective, I’d be clean shaven below if a guy was to ask for it. It’s hair at the end of the day, and will grow back.

Saying this though, I much prefer myself to be clean shaven, it’s days where I’m waiting for it to grow back it’ll be nice to hear a man say, leave it, I like it.

I’m rambling... my view is, if you want to you can, if you don’t want to then don’t lol

Maybe, it's really only a "designer stubble" goatee anyway, so I could grow it back in under a week. Reckon it would sting a little bit though, haven't shaved that part of my face since 2000 so that might put me off.

Be more put off by being asked to grow it out to be honest, it'd take me ages to get to the Viking look.

I've had loads of women I've met say they don't like beards because they look scruffy, are too ruff and would give them a rash or even they said I would like look better without then I shaved it once to prove a point to the ladies that I look way better with and the ones that said they wouldn't because of the rash was proven wrong when they gave me and my beard a try. Ladies slash women shouldn't knock the beard until they have been with someone that has a beard. A woman I am sleeping with now had never been with a guy with a beard until me and she says I turn her on more then any other man( she might be blowing smoke) but my point is no man should shave his beard off unless its his choice, my beards part of my identity

I shave my head at every meet... Does that count? My beard isn't that long but I wouldn't want to shave it off... Likewise, I wouldn't ask anyone else to change their looks for me.
