"Fab" seems to equal "fake"

Isn't it a shame that the prefix Fab seems to have come to equal fake?

A lot of us do it (me included)

Fab Single

Fab Straight

Fab Police

I'm sure there are more.

Is there anything we can do to counter this?

I don't see how believing they really are single, straight or the police with some sort of power will help. It would just make me gullible "

You asked for anything to counter this.

You believing everything to be fake is just as bad. Only abuse I've ever received was from a single lady, I don't tar every lady with the same brush.

Only you can change what you believe, through knowledge and or experience, personally I treat everyone as an individual rather than a collective.

It all depends on what you mean by fake.

I use tinder. Almost every reply I get there is fake. The women want me to sign up to a doggy site, not going to do that. Cannot ever remember that happening on Fab.

The only fakes I had here is fake addresses, and that can only mean a fake profile. Reported one and their account disappeared

What do you mean by fake?

I'm not sure how fake they are,i always think its that they lie,the 1st two especially.

People sadly will lie to get more meets on here and unfortunately you can only go on your own gut instinct about someone and if you think they aren't what they seem don't engage.

You will find genuine and not so genuine people on every site.

Fab Single - Not fake its just dishonest.

Fab Straight - Not fake just flexible sexuality.

Fab Police How is this fake? At a loss on that.

I think it’s more to do with the fact that it’s online. You can sign up anonymously and create a profile which represents the person you want to be. Some people will be honest and inevitably some will be more creative but it isn’t specific to Fab

You can only alter your behaviour(you said you do it) control the controlable, not the behaviour of others.
