I do roast beetroot but with balsamic vinegar, honey and thyme..

Easy to grow on the allotment. Can be cooked cooled then olive oil and orange zest.

As a juice it's strong. Hits you with a punch.

That means that beetroot is fairly old

Yes it's very weird. The young leaves good in salad. Pickled with vinegar, good. Grated and cooked served hot, OK getting there. Eating In bed is a Nono, unmentionable stains everywhere
