Do you routinely add kisses to messages.

My nan’s spare room.

I’ve noticed that away from fab life in real life, people, ladies mostly will routinely add a x to end a message.

I have friends and colleagues who will do it even in routine messages.

Just thinking out loud as to how common it is.

I do, with very few people.

Depends how much affection I wish to convey in the message and the style of communication of the person I am chatting to.

I add 1 kiss routinely. If I add more it tends to mean more

Yep! If you're really special you get three

Of course, this can cause a few issues when you accidentally add them to a text you're sending to your boss...

Actually,

Are emojis acceptable in work emails. I sent one yesterday where I made a jokey comment that I felt was crying out for a smiley face, but I felt I couldn’t.

The receipiant rang me back concerned I was being serious.

I can see place for three kisses in your profile pic.

It's just the text speak of "yours sincerely" which is an awkward and cumbersome phrase in the modern world. I tend to preface my signature with "Regards" on business correspondence these days, but that also feels antiquated and wrong.

Can the fab forums come up with a new sign off that is fit for 2020, and non descript enough for all communications?

Nope. Never.

I've never seen the point. I find it even stranger when it bleeds out in to just general texting and messaging from people you barely know.

With that said xxxx away as much as you like, as it's not harming anyone!

Not that often. Never colleagues, sometimes to fab folk but they are few in number. It depends on how affectionate I feel towards the person and my general mood at the time. On the odd occasion I do it without thinking and then I'm all "Ach fuck Meli, whaddya do that for?" I then just carry on as normal.
