Not literally but you need an umbrella in there right now.

The bathroom sink pipe has burst and it’s pouring through my kitchen ceiling.

I don’t know where to switch the water supply off from

Hillside desolate

Ask a neighbour, they'll probably have the same set up.

Main stop should be under your kitchen sink

If it's the sink pipe it should stop when the bowls empty. Your stop cock might be under the sink or if you have a water meter then they have a built in stop cock

Well as the guy above said, most of the time it's under the sink, that's where mine is.

Hiding in the shadows

Mine is behind my washing machine, it's easier to switch off at the main point outside in an emergency - as I found.

It's usually on the pavement on the boundary of your property

If you've turnedit off and its not stopping (there will be residual pressure for a bit) the chances are the stop tap seal is cream crackered, has your sink any service valves fitted, looks like a slotted screw top on a metal fitting ?

Bathroom is probably off the storage tanks in attic? Turn on all the other taps in the house and drain them as fast as you can!
