Having a tough time.

It's not for us to decide what makes a tough time for another person. It's how it makes them feel regardless of the cause.

Remember:

You've probably already been through things that would crush another person and you've made it through.

You're loved by more people than you realise.

People look up to you.

You made it this far right? You can make it further.

Whatever it is, it's temporary. Parts of it may be final, but the feelings won't last forever.

It's another opportunity to learn and grow.

yeah i fancied a late night cake last night but missed the local tesco expess by a min or two and they shut = no cake so down last night never slept a wink ill make sure on the way home ill buy double amounts of cake not going thru that again....

Exellently put, ive been through the worst thing a parent can go through and it didnt permanantly break me, damaged me for life but not broken me, currently go through something far less thats come close to finishing me off, yet this simple selfless post has just helped me put things into perspective a little, for that i thank you from the bottom of my soul. Now im off to a dark room so sob uncontrolably.

Yes, parts are final, but not all. You're questioning because you're trying to make sense of something. We all do that. We all need to make sense of things, especially when there's seemingly no logic behind it. It's perfectly normal and natural.

I'll tell ya how you're gonna carry on.

Through teary eyes to begin with, but with sheer grit and determination because lady, you're a fucker for making the rest of us look like we're only putting in a half arsed effort.

We all crack, we all crumble a little (sometimes a lot) but you know as well as I do you have the glue inside you to fix the cracks, the glue just needs warming up is all.

Yeah nice post. Been through some shit times here. Won’t bother long through it all but it was pretty shit. The only thing that kept me motivated was my girls. Other wise I would definitely been a goner now.

If you had a friend coming to visit who wasn't feeling down, or maybe just wasn't looking after themselves as best as they could you'd look after them wouldn't you in your own way. Maybe you'd sort them something to eat that showed them you care? Something with nutrients and a touch of the feel good factor.

P has been through some dark times in her own life, so as well as being a comfort knows exactly where a lot of those needing comfort are coming from?

She's been bloody great to me, and I like to think I can brighten her own moods sometimes (usually by surprises which I tend to be decent at!

)
