I just love the old B/W movies from Ealing etc. Can't beat Alec Guinness, Ian Carmichael and Terry Thomas, oh and Alistair Simm.

Though i'm partial to fantasy and sci fi too.

i know its not films but i love stuff like wire in the blood and trial and retribution etc, what would they come under suspension?

not sure his films can be classed as a 'genre' in themselves, but i have yet to find an almodovar film that i didn't enjoy

also love film noire

60 years on and sunset boulevard is still always up there in my top 10
