Hi, were off to PDI soon and we use CBD caplets. Does anybody know if they can be taken with us to PDI ? - will we get them through customs etc ? does anybody know the legality of CBD and going on holiday ? Any info would be much appreciated.

Can you ask them online. Different destinations seem to have different rules.

we're not taking the CBD oil that Mr N uses on holiday. It just doesn't seem worth the risk

Central

I'd search for the customs dept of the country that you are visiting, as they should detail prohibited product contents for people travelling in or through their territory. Some places prohibit some prescribed or over the counter medication from being imported, even with valid prescriptions and documentation from Doctors. The UK has very clear info for us and most if not all countries should provide something similar. The foreign office here may also provide details for other countries, though it may be of a general nature, rather than specific product contents. They may link to the foreign country's website too.

Good advice hubby takes a bag of prescribed drugs and they sometimes check it, even though I take the prescription with me.

Check with whoever you are flying with. They tell you what you can and can't carry.
