Now that I have your attention!

What kind of vids...

Seriously though, noticing on the sports thread a good few people have mentioned about horse racing being cruel (it is!).

It got we wondering and curious, I know most people do actually care about animals, but how many of you care to the point of supporting or using cosmetic (and cleaning products) that are do not (or I should say no longer) have their ingredients or the product itself tested on animals?

Hmmm maybe I should have used a better title incase nobody takes a look and joins in the discussion... Too late now!

Yeah I love animals but I dont really care about products. We have been exploiting animals for thousands of years, why would we change now?

Nothing I use is tested on animals, I check EVERYTHING, there’s so much available, why would you not!

Somewhere

All of my makeup is cruelty free.

Dog racing and horse racing should be banned.

Because we can. We have improved things so much (yes in part to testing on animals) that exploiting them for such things is no longer the only option, and it's not the best option either.

Medical advancements and food I can (hypocritically) accept to a degree, but in the name of cosmetics and cleaning products we are well past thst in terms of requirement.

Chemicals forced down their throats, put in their eyes, injections given. I've seen the fear of the (few) beagles that survive and have been released from labs and you can tell it is has been torturous hell for them.

"I eat Panda's

Raw or cooked?"

I like to brine them for 24 hours before cold smoking them over beech wood, then thinly slice them and serve with a strong blue cheese, water biscuits and a good Chianti.

Im a therapist and everything i use is cruelty free down to my make up brushes, even my clothes washing tablets come bio degradable packets (smol) , i never used to be bothered so much but now i am and i find my ladies are too, you need to check your company's because if they sell to China they by law have to test on animals even if the products you dont use and buy here aren't x

Indeed. Its a minefield.

The product may be cruelty free, but the company still sells none cruelty free products. Or the parent company etc.

China is in fact the largest single reason it still happens, unfortunately.

Nr. Oxford

I did this last year. Went through everything I owned, used up what was left and then changed to products that are cruelty free. It’s so easy and there is so much choice nowadays.

For me its about integrity, lots of companies are convenient with the truth because of greed!

I research stuff it's easy to find x
