from Home Counties to Middle Earth

In looking for an outlet for my energies, I almost signed up for the W.I.

Then a friend very kindly showed me the error in my ways and directed me to Fab - I've never looked back

What have you diverted from, or nearly done, only to do something Fab or better instead?

I nearly went back to work earlier this year but fortunately was diverted by the promise of long, lazy mornings, coffee by the sea on a Monday afternoon and brisk, beach walks.

You should have joined the WI as well, the cake making lessons would have made you a Ninja in seducing FAB women, a cross between Victoria Secrets and Victoria Sponge would be a weapon of mass seduction

Sounds like a very good move Mr M.

I delayed getting a motorbike til my late 20's for the same reason. I would certainly be dead - I was a nutter in a car back then
