I can't cut and paste!

I have been challenged to prove the 1980's had a great music.

So feel free to join in

Here are 11 of mine. I have left out a load of club tracks, early house, acid Jazz, acid house, nu wave jazz, and Spandex Rock rock. So no flares, no love beads and incense, no hippys. I ust power suits, big hair and the attitude to succeed, everything was possible!

Ashes to Ashes - David Bowie

Fascist Groove Thang - Heaven 17

Sweetest Girl - Scritti Politti

Voodoo Ray - A Guy Called Gerald

Walk This Way - Run DMC Aerosmith

Let the Music Play - Shannon

In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins

Anita Baker - Sweet Love

I Still Have Not Found What I am Looking For - U2

Back to Life Soul - II Soul

I Wanna Dance with Somebody - Whitney Houston

Man with the Golden Horn - Miles Davis

Definitely some good tunes here.

GMan you are excused boots.

My bad as I missed GK's earlier post as I have not been on the forum.

To prevent having two identical threads, here is the original GK thread of the 80's.

Thank you everybody you have excellent musical taste.
