Android update!!

just updated my HTC sensaton with the new system update ad now my messages wont open - any suggestions??

just keeps saying 'please wait'

Did the upgrade go through OK? Can you see which version of android you are using at the moment?

how do i know if it went through ok?

am on Android 4.0.3 apparently, have restarted it several times and everytime it trns o again it says 'android is updatinig: optimising application x of xx'
