So do you have one place that is your tonic? I'm sat usual place, every morning before work..mounts bay car park, right on shoreline listening to the sea roll up the sand..gentle this morning..got kinks playing, Costa to hand. Really need this fix..miss it badly if I m unable to get here after 3 days...most beautiful bay in the country

It's actually a quite old cemetery near my house. A walk through there keeps me in balance.

Churches and cemeteries are brilliant! They're just old, constant, calm, filled with memories and history, even if they're not my own, to me they're quiet comforting even though I'm not even remotely religious in any way....

Also the sea, just the vastness and sounds there, makes you feel small again and puts your worries in order with the world....

Any piece of open road on my bike

Sounds corny but it really eases any stress and worries

Just me my bike and a tank of fuel

La la land

Anywhere up a hill or mountain where there isn't a single other person. Don't care if it's raining and cold finding it calming, especially if I'm up in the clouds

Somewhere near here

By the river, at a lock. I often go there before and after school runs, or go for a 4 mile bike ride to it. It’s peaceful and beautiful

So many of us that head toward the sea...I actually used to listen to recordings of the sea and it's creatures to send me off to sleep..spent a lot of years beneath and on it

North Bucks

Short term fix my cabin in my garden and listen to the sounds of nature. And the contented breathing of my dog pack.

Spiritual refresh I head home and sit in the sun and listen to the sea. One day I will sell up all I have and head back and do nothing but read walk and chill.

Sounds amazing.

The beach would be my special place too but I don't live close to one

The mountains are my go too! Particular spot not far from me, I like to go at night and sit and watch the lights below and contemplate

Something so existential about it
