A good one- something bright or different. Stands out in a sea of messages so I can remember who I'm talking to.

A bad one- something that makes me squint and wonder what the heck it is. And regret clicking on the profile to view a larger version.

A lot of people have very similar profile pics. Same colours, same pose, same arse, same tits, same suit. If it's different it's more memorable.
