Get a good.liquid chicken stock or make one yourself. Keep it simple but add a bit of spice and plenty of herbs.

Taunton

If you cannot make any sort of soup you're rubber-ducked , it's so simple . Celery, carrots & onions form the base for most soups . A simple blender is useful too.

Batchelors cup a soup, chicken and vegetable nice and creamy, or make a chicken casserole plenty of liquid added you,ll struggle to get a better broth than from that.

Anglesey

Evidence of the existence of soup can be found as far back as about 20,000 BC. ... The word soup comes from French soupe ("soup", "broth"), which comes through Vulgar Latin suppa ("bread soaked in broth") from a Germanic source, from which also comes the word "sop", a piece of bread used to soak up soup or a thick stew.

The truth about soup.

I remember the near tragedy when the clangers couldn't get any soup because the Soup Dragon was broody.

Luckily Tiny Clanger was wise enough to call the Iron Chicken by radio for advise and alls well that ends well
