I was just pondering how quite often the first time you do something is the best.

If I had one of those zapper things from Men in Black and could erase a memory from your mind what would you choose? What would you like to experience for the first time again?

Rubi x

(you can have the memory back after).

Catching my babies when they were born. Those were really special, time stood still type of moments, just welcoming them into this world.

Catching? Did they fly out?

But I know what you mean - I had a section and they held him up (like he was from the lion king) and showed us him. I burst into tears, so I only saw him for a second before they whisked him away!

Haha thanks for playing that tune in my head

Did you get some skin to skin? Some hospitals nowadays try and support gentle caesarean procedure. But not with emergencies of course. Either way, its such a happy sight, no matter the way they travelled! X

Definitely the moment when I had each of the girls, especially as we didn’t find out what I was having so when number 2 turned out to be a girl I was so pleased as I’d always wanted two girls x

Not straight away - my husband held him while I was getting stitched back together (which took foreeeeeever, they had a student there as well and my uterus is a love heart shaped so they all had a good look at it ) but once I was wheeled back into the labour suite I got loads of skin to skin straight away
