I caught a cold from a colleague years ago, I didn't like him much. I didn't know which upset me more, the fact I felt unwell with a heavy cold, or my bidy had been invaded by his bugs

a candle and a bottle of whiskey. Light the candle and watch it slowly burn whilst drinking the whiskey. By the time the candle has gone out you will have forgotten your cold

Also...Nightnurse. Miracle in a bottle.

Hot toddy made my gramp’s way: hot milk, a good glug of whiskey, a teaspoon of honey. Drink.

Sore throat? Gargle with diluted TCP
